Dogs do not come with an instruction manual.
Understanding them is my expertise.
Most families are surprised by how quickly things shift once the picture becomes clearer.
Every behaviour your dog displays is a reaction to their environment: the people and animals around them, the home they live in, the sounds, the smells, the routines, the changes. The behaviour itself is the symptom. What matters is understanding what triggered it, and why. Once that picture is clear, the whole system can be rebalanced: the dog, the environment, and the relationship between you.
Nick works with families facing specific challenges, but also with those going through change. A new dog, a house move, a new baby, a shift in routine or professional life. Because transitions affect dogs too, often more than we realise.
As a child, my dream was to become a vet. Pets were always around, always part of life. Later on as an adult, when my dog Tiga came into my life, I discovered something I wasn't prepared for: unconditional love from a creature who asked for nothing except to be understood. But he had issues.
Tiga was reactive. Walks were hard. I hired someone to help us and left feeling more lost than before. So I did what most people do when something doesn't sit right. I started asking questions. And somewhere between psychology, languages and a genuine love for animals, I found a profession I didn't know existed.
My role is to give you the tools, the knowledge and the confidence to guide your dog every day, and to step back as soon as you feel ready to fly solo. Our work together is always positive, always kind, and always respectful of your dog.
Tiga came first (middle right), the dog who started it all. Baloo and Sushi came later, and between the three of them, they have taught Nick more than any course ever could.
Here is what your journey with Nick looks like.
