🐾 Behavioural Practice for Dog Parents

Your dog is simply
waiting for a yes.

Most dog parents unknowingly pass their emotions onto their dog, without realising the impact. Nick helps you understand what your dog actually needs, so you can stop reacting to each other and start truly connecting.

Most families are surprised by how quickly things shift once the picture becomes clearer.

🐾 “Behaviour is communication.”

Dogs don't misbehave.
They communicate.

There is no such thing as misbehaviour. Only dogs trying to be understood in a human's world. When families truly understand how their dog thinks, feels and communicates, everything changes.

01
Behaviour is communication.Every reaction your dog has, such as barking, pulling or jumping, is information. Nick teaches you to read it, so you stop guessing and start responding accurately.
02
Prevention and rehabilitation, the same way.Whether you're preventing problems before they start or working through ones that already exist, the approach is the same: understand the dog in front of you and their needs. Progress is built mostly on positive reinforcement, teaching the dog what is expected of them, rather than punishing what is not. Always at a pace the dog sets themselves.
03
You are the key.Nick doesn't train your dog for you. He teaches you to read situations, make decisions and stay calm under pressure, skills that keep working long after the sessions end.
04
The human is part of the work. Most behaviour problems are less about what the dog is doing and more about how the humans around them are responding. Nick works with you as much as with your dog.
🐾 “Most dogs are fine. Humans need more training.

A child's dream,
a life's calling.

As a child, my dream was to become a vet. Pets were always around, always part of life. But when Tiga came into my life as an adult, I discovered something I wasn't prepared for. Unconditional love from a creature who asked for nothing except to be understood.

Tiga was reactive. Walks were hard. I hired someone to help us and left feeling more lost than before. So I did what most people do when something doesn't sit right. I started asking questions. And somewhere between psychology, languages and a genuine love for animals, I found a profession I didn't know existed.

"That's how Bark with Nick began. Not from a lifelong dream, but from a Google search, a dog who needed understanding, and the realisation that most families just need someone to show them the way."

My role is to give you the tools, the knowledge and the confidence to guide your dog every day, and to step back as soon as you feel ready to fly solo. Our work together is always positive, always kind, and always respectful of your dog.
